Winter has almost arrived in Perth as the weather is getting more and more colder, especially during nightfall. To combat the changing season, I picked up a winter essential from Sportsgirl while I was shopping in the city yesterday. They are currently having a sale on their beanies with 50% off the original price. This beanie is the first that I own and it won't be the only one for too long. I'm thinking of purchasing another in either a burgundy colour or a grey.

It's been forever since I last uploaded a photo of my nails! I haven't had much time lately and have honestly been wearing my OPI bubble bath for weeks on end. Yesterday though, as a reward for submitting one of my assessments, I decided to do my nails properly. I felt like using some glitter nail polish but wished not to have something heavy that would evidently take too long to remove. All that Glitters seemed like the perfect option for this. I purchased this from a Sportsgirl sale at $4.95 and have not had the opportunity to wear it fully on the nails. It's a versatile glitter mixture that looks amazing over any nail polish colour. As it was my first time to use it I thought, what better way to showcase the gorgeous gold flecks of glitter than over an opaque white base. Essie Blanc was picked up from a Myer sale last year and is a little streaky in formula so it took about 2-3 coats for a nice opaque look. Since it had dried slightly streaky it was a perfect base for a glitter overlay. Sportsgirl All that Glitters helped to smooth out the streaks as well as adding a top coat to seal in everything.

Stepped out of my comfort zone by purchasing this awesome printed tee of what seems to be a lion, correct me if I'm wrong. I love the colour scheme to this top - shades of black, grey/white and hints of gold. Will be pairing this with a boyfriend blazer, my AA riding pants and black ankle boots. Or, tucked into black high-waisted shorts and a cardigan.
